INFANT (3 MONTHS – 18 MONTHS)

Our infant program is designed to create a warm, safe and secure environment for our children. Our primary concern with our infant group is to make every child feel secure, important, loved and happy in a group setting. We believe that this is achieved by creating a soothing and interactive environment with time spent both indoors and outdoors to encourage the stimulation of each child’s growth. Our teachers will expose infants each day to a variety of activities including music, songs, fingerpaint, books and fine and gross motor activities.

Parents are provided with detailed information of their child at the end of each day.

TODDLER (18 MONTHS – 2.5 YEARS)

Our toddler program is desgined to create a safe environment where toddlers can learn, grow and explore the world around them. We understand that this is one of the most important stages in a child’s development as this is when they are first starting to learn how to share, communicate, form relationships and function in a group setting. Our toddler classroom is directed towards creating a warm, loving, family atmosphere for our children. Programming is developed in a way that encourages children to learn through play while teachers find exciting themes that encourage children in this learning process. We provide assistance with toilet training and a daily charting system recording naps, meals and washroom routines to inform parents of their childs day.

PRESCHOOL (2.5 YEARS – 4 YEARS)

Our preschool children will learn basic concepts in an exciting, fun, educational and active way in our big, vibrant and lively preschool room. It is our goal to provide a nurturing educational program that meets the needs of every child. We focus on the expanding life skills development and introducing school readiness skills. Early literacy and numeracy concepts will be incorporated during play and learning centres for the children to explore throughout the day. Weekly program plans offer details about the activities offered through centres such as, art, dramatic play, science, sensory and gross and fine motor activities. Each child is provided with a broad range of activities and experience that will inspire curiosity and exploration.

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL (6 YEARS – 12 YEARS)

Maple Child Care Centre offers a safe and relaxing classroom environment where children can work on homework, engage in play and enjoy a nutritional snack before and after school. Transportation to local schools is provided which is dependent on the local school boards. Please contact us for a current list of schools.

DAY PROGRAMS: Summer, School Breaks, P.A Days & Bus Cancellations

We offer childcare for P.A days, bus cancellations and school breaks such as Christmas, March Break and Summer Holidays. In fact, our special day camp programming seems to be highly sought after because of the range in activities and excursions that are planned for those days.

Some favourites include a trip to the bowling alley, movies, classroom dance parties, zoos with pony rides included, fairs, visits from Reptilia, waterpark fun and much, much more!
